The setup week
How we set up your agent.
We listen, we build your agent, you test it, then it goes live. No setup fee.
Your time, day by day.
-
Monday
We listen.
Your services and prices, your hours and towns, the work you turn away, who gets the email and the apps you run.
Your part: A fifteen-minute call.
-
Tuesday
We write it in.
Your greeting in your business's name, the questions your agent asks, and its answers to what callers always ask.
Your part: Nothing, unless we email you a question.
-
Wednesday
Your inbox, and your apps.
We set who gets the email and make dashboard logins for the people you name. For your apps, we connect them with you and watch a test call's write-up land in your app before you rely on it.
Your part: A call, if you want your apps connected.
-
Thursday
You try to break it.
First we put your agent through ten scripted test calls, from the caller who pushes for a price to the sales pitch. Then you ring it yourself: ask for a person, or a price you never gave it.
Your part: Your own test calls.
-
Friday
You forward your line.
On a call with you, we set up forwarding from your line to your agent's local number for the calls you choose, including the next caller when you're already on one, and test it with you. You keep your number, and we show you how to switch it off.
Your part: A call with us.
Nothing goes live until you say so.
What we write into your agent.
Tell us at setup and we write it in.
- Your own question for each kind of job, in your words.
- Your set prices, your call-out fee and whether it comes off the work.
- The windows you work, so callers can say which suits. Your team still agrees the time.
- Asking if a yearly service is due.
- Your order list, if you take orders by phone, with the question each item needs.
- Callers outside your towns turned away on the spot, if you'd rather.
- The order it asks things in, like the address first.
- A holiday or a shutdown week, when you tell us ahead.
- The voice it speaks in, picked by you and heard with you before it goes live.
- Your business name, services, towns and streets, so it listens out for them.
A caller's answers are in that call's transcript, in your dashboard.
What we connect after the call.
After the call, the write-up can go on to the apps you already run. We build each connection with you and test it before you rely on it.
- It can arrive in your job app as a new request or customer, for you to schedule.
- We can wire the write-up to open a job, not just a request, in your crew's app, where it allows that, ready for you to schedule. Some apps take only a new customer; we tell you which.
- It can go onto your calendar as an entry dated by the call, for you to move and confirm with the caller.
- We can add a step that places the entry near the time the caller asked for, when they named one, marked for you to confirm.
- The write-up can go to a different person for each kind of job the caller asks about.
- We can turn a quote request into a draft in your own accounts, for you to price and send.
What we need from you, and what we do not.
What we need from you
- Your price sheet and the questions callers always ask. We take the rest down on our first call.
- A login to each app you want connected. We do the rest on a call with you.
The rest is ours
You do not write a script or connect an app. You tell us how you work, and we build it.
- Month to month, with no annual contract.
Questions about the week
We call you with a start date, then set it up with you. It starts on the day you forward your line, after you've rung it and said yes.
Email us. Prices go up, hours change, you add a brand: we change what your agent says, test it, then switch it over. Your agent keeps answering the whole time.
